- Go to the box office, concession register, kiosk, or in-theater restaurant at any participating Cinemark.
- Hand the gift card to the cashier, or display the gift card number and PIN from your mobile device.
- The cashier applies the card balance toward your tickets, food, drinks, or merchandise.
If the purchase costs more than the card holds, the cashier can split the difference across the gift card and a second payment method.
Why Your Cinemark Gift Card Isn’t Working
Most Cinemark redemption problems come down to one of three things. Check these before contacting support — each has a quick fix.
The card isn’t selectable at online checkout
Online payment only offers a gift card after it’s been registered to your account. Open My Gift Cards in your Cinemark account and add the card with its number and PIN first; it then appears as a payment option at checkout.
“Invalid card” or the number won’t register
This is almost always a mistyped number or PIN. Re-enter both carefully, ideally copied straight from the delivery email, and watch for a “0” entered as the letter “O.” If you just bought the card, a recently issued code can take a short time to sync — wait a few minutes and try again.
The balance is lower than you expected
