How to create a U.S. iTunes account from anywhere in the world

This guide shows you how to create a U.S. iTunes account so you can redeem and use a U.S. Apple gift card from anywhere in the world.
To create this account, you will need:
- An email address that isn’t currently registered with iTunes
- A U.S. Apple gift card
You can use a U.S. Apple gift card of any denomination to create your account. Click here to order one from MyGiftCardSupply. Your U.S. Apple gift card will be emailed to you promptly after purchase, and you can use it with the tutorial below.
Creating your U.S. iTunes account
1. Make sure you’re logged out of your current iTunes account. Enter the U.S. iTunes Store by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on the flag.
Once you’re on this page, click United States to enter the U.S. iTunes Store.
Locate the App Store and find any app listed as Free.
Once you’re on the app’s page, click Free under the image.
You’ll be prompted to log in to the iTunes Store. Click Create Apple ID.
Click Continue, agree to the terms, then click Agree.
Fill out all account information. Use an email address that is not currently registered with iTunes. For payment type, choose None.
Address guidance: use a real U.S. city, state, and area code. Example cities:
Beverly Hills, CA 90210 (310)
Detroit, MI 48226 (313)
Omaha, NE 68102 (402)
Pensacola, FL 32501 (850)
Phone numbers are 10 digits (e.g. 111‑111‑1111). Use the correct area code for the city.
After you enter your information, click Continue. Once your U.S. Apple gift card is redeemed, click Done.
You’ve successfully created a U.S. iTunes Store account. You can now make purchases on iOS and Apple devices using this account.
