Putting a gift card number into the wrong form returns an error — use the Payment Methods flow for a gift card.
The balance went to a different account
Gift card credit attaches to whichever Fandango at Home account you were signed in to when you registered the card, and it is not transferable between accounts. If you do not see the balance, sign out and back in to the account you use to watch, and check Payment Methods there before re-entering anything.
Region — VUDU and Fandango at Home are US-only
Vudu Cards and Fandango at Home Cards are intended for use within the United States on athome.fandango.com or participating Fandango at Home apps. A card will not redeem on an account or in a region the service does not support, so use it with a US-based Fandango at Home account.
Legacy FandangoNOW or M-GO cards
Cards branded FandangoNOW or M-GO predate the Fandango at Home platform and may not register the same way as a current Vudu Card. If an older card is rejected, Fandango at Home support can confirm whether it is still redeemable or needs to be exchanged.
