How to Redeem a Nike Gift Card
Apply it at nike.com checkout, in the Nike app or SNKRS, or in a Nike store
A Nike gift card is applied as a payment method at checkout, not stored as a separate balance. Choose Gift Card, enter the 19-digit number and 4-digit PIN, and the amount comes off your order — online, in the app, or in store.

Apply Your Nike Gift Card as Payment
To redeem a Nike gift card, shop at nike.com or in the Nike app, add eligible items to your bag, and at checkout select Gift Card as the payment method. Enter the 19-digit gift card number and 4-digit PIN, then select Apply — the balance comes off your total, and any remainder is charged to another payment method.
Redeem on Nike.com, in the App, or In Store
A Nike gift card isn’t loaded into a wallet — you apply it as a payment method when you check out. It works on nike.com, in the Nike and SNKRS apps, and at Nike-owned stores, as long as the storefront matches the country the card was issued for.
At Checkout on Nike.com or the Nike App
Use this for any online order; the website and the Nike app share the same checkout and the same gift card fields.
- Go to nike.com or open the Nike app and sign in to your account.
- Add eligible items to your bag and proceed to checkout.
- In the payment section, select Gift Card as your payment method.
- Enter the 19-digit gift card number and 4-digit PIN, then select Apply.
- Complete your order; pay any remaining total with another payment method.
You can apply up to 10 Nike gift cards on a single order. To use one in the SNKRS app, add it ahead of time under Settings → Payment Information → Add New Payment Method → Add Gift Card.
In a Nike Store
Bring the card — or the email with the number — to any Nike-owned store.
- Take your items to the register at a Nike or Nike Factory Store location.
- Hand the gift card to the associate to swipe or scan.
- The balance is applied to your purchase; cover any remaining total with another payment method.
In store you only need the card number or barcode — no PIN — so a digital card works as long as you can show the number from your email.
What a Nike Gift Card Can Buy
A Nike gift card pays for merchandise across Nike’s own channels — shoes, apparel, and gear on nike.com, in the Nike app, in the SNKRS app for drops, and at Nike-owned stores, including Nike and Nike Factory Store locations.
It’s redeemable for merchandise only, not cash, and it can’t be used to buy other gift cards. Nike gift cards work only on official Nike channels, not at third-party or franchise retailers that happen to sell Nike products. In the United States they carry no fees and don’t expire; cards issued in other countries may differ, so check the terms printed on the card or in your email.
- Use it for: shoes, apparel, and gear on nike.com, the Nike app, SNKRS, and in Nike stores.
- Won’t work for: other gift cards, cash, or third-party retailers that resell Nike.
Why Your Nike Gift Card Isn’t Working
Most Nike gift card errors trace back to region rules or where you’re trying to use the card. Match the message you saw to the item below before contacting Nike.
“This gift card is not valid in your region”
Nike gift cards are region-locked — a card works only on the Nike storefront and app for the country it was issued in, and your app or account region has to match. Switch to the matching country’s Nike storefront, or use a card issued for the region your account is set to.
“Invalid number or PIN”
Re-enter the 19-digit gift card number and 4-digit PIN exactly, with no extra spaces. If a physical card still won’t apply, it may not have been activated at the register — return it to the store. If you bought the card from MyGiftCardSupply and it won’t redeem, contact MyGiftCardSupply support with your order number.
“Gift card cannot be used for this purchase”
This usually means you’re off an official Nike channel — a third-party or franchise retailer — or on an ineligible item. Apply the card on nike.com, in the Nike or SNKRS apps, or at a Nike-owned store, where gift cards are accepted.
“Gift card already used”
The value on the card has been spent. You can apply a second Nike gift card to the order — up to 10 per order — or cover the total with another payment method such as a credit or debit card.
