How to Redeem a Binance Gift Card
Web or app — 16-character code into your verified Binance wallet
A Binance Gift Card is a 16-character redemption code that credits crypto directly to your Binance Spot or Funding wallet. The flow is identical for USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, DOGE, and SHIB cards.

Redeeming a Binance Gift Card to Your Wallet
A Binance Gift Card is a 16-character redemption code that credits crypto directly to a verified Binance account. To redeem, sign in at binance.com/en/gift-card (or open the Binance app and tap Profile > Gift Card), open the Redeem tab, choose Redeem to Crypto, enter the code, and click Redeem. The crypto lands in your Spot or Funding wallet immediately.
Redeem on the Web or in the Binance App
Binance offers the same redemption flow on two surfaces — its website and its mobile app. The 16-character code works identically on both, and the destination wallet is the same Spot or Funding wallet tied to your Binance account. The single hard requirement is that the redeeming account must be identity-verified before the code can be submitted.
On the Binance Website
The web flow is the path Binance promotes in its official support article and the easiest to follow from a desktop browser.
- Sign in at binance.com with your verified Binance account.
- Go to binance.com/en/gift-card (or scroll to the page footer and click the Gift Card link).
- Open the Redeem tab and select Redeem to Crypto.
- Enter the 16-character code from your gift card and click Redeem.
- Confirm the redemption — the crypto credits to your Spot or Funding wallet in seconds.
If you’d rather cash out instead of holding the crypto, the Gift Card hub also offers a convert option that swaps the redeemed balance into a supported fiat currency in the same step.
In the Binance App
The mobile flow is identical in mechanics and the better path if your card arrived to your phone — you can paste straight from your email client.
- Open the Binance app and sign in.
- Tap your profile icon at the top-left, then tap Gift Card (on older app versions: More > Gift Card).
- Tap the Redeem tab and choose Redeem to Crypto.
- Paste or type the 16-character code, then tap Redeem.
The app shows the deposited cryptocurrency and the amount on the confirmation screen, and the same balance appears immediately under Wallets > Spot or Wallets > Funding.
What You Receive from a Binance Gift Card
A Binance Gift Card carries one specific cryptocurrency — USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, DOGE, SHIB, or whichever asset the sender selected — and lands in your wallet as that exact asset. From there it’s yours like any other Binance balance: trade it for another coin, withdraw it on-chain to an external wallet, convert it to fiat under Buy & Sell, or hold it. Binance doesn’t charge a redemption fee, and the gift card carries no markup beyond what the sender paid.
Binance Gift Cards cannot be split — you must redeem the full amount in a single submission — and they can’t be transferred to another Binance account after redemption. The card also can’t be used on Binance.US, which runs as a separate platform with no Gift Card hub of its own.
Common Binance Gift Card Redemption Errors
Most Binance gift-card failures fall into one of five buckets. The KYC requirement and the new 6-month expiry are the two most common, and they catch both new and returning users.
Your Binance account isn’t verified
Binance restricts gift-card redemption to identity-verified accounts. If you see “Only verified users can redeem gift cards” or your code is silently rejected, finish KYC first under Profile > Identification. Verification typically takes a few minutes to a few hours; once it clears, the same code redeems normally with no further changes.
The gift card has expired
Binance Gift Cards created on or after April 10, 2024 expire 6 months from the creation date. If you see “This gift card has expired”, the card is no longer redeemable on Binance’s side and the funds revert to the sender. Contact the seller you bought from — they’re the only party who can confirm the creation date and issue a replacement.
Invalid 16-character code
Binance codes are case-sensitive uppercase strings with no spaces, hyphens, or lowercase letters. Re-check the code character by character — the common typos are O for zero, 1 for the letter I, and 8 for B. Copy and paste from the delivery email rather than retyping if you can; manual entry on a 16-character string is where most errors creep in.
Code already redeemed
Each Binance Gift Card is a single-use code, and once it’s redeemed the next attempt will return “This code has already been used”. If you haven’t redeemed it yourself, contact the seller with the code and proof of purchase — Binance can confirm which account claimed the balance and a legitimate seller will typically replace the card or refund the order.
You’re on Binance.US instead of Binance global
Binance.US is a US-only platform run separately from Binance.com, and it does not host the Gift Card feature. If you signed in at binance.us and can’t find the Gift Card hub, you’re on the wrong platform — sign in at binance.com with a non-Binance.US account to redeem.
