Prices going up for seven different countries on iTunes

Apple announced this week that it is raising it’s prices on iTunes in the coming days for seven countries world wide. The news comes out as foreign exchange rates continue to fluctuate. The countries that will be affected are:
  • Canada
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • Singapore
  • Israel
  • Mexico
  • Russia
It is no surprise that the best way to avoid the price increases is to use a US iTunes gift card which allows you to take advantage of the US iTunes price structure, which remains much more stable. Another huge benefit of using a US iTunes gift card is having access to the largest selection of music, movies, apps, tv shows and many more. Often times feature content is released in the United States first, and then released later to other countries and often at a higher price.
