Amazon Launches Music Streaming Free Tier

We have some great news that will make you want to get some Amazon gift cards right away. Up until this point Spotify was the only music streaming service with a free tier. But Amazon is finally sharing a free tier for its music service. Prime Music is a part of Amazon Prime as of now, and the fact that you can access the top playlists and stations with an ad-supported version is very exciting. It helps a lot because you get to avoid paying for Spotify or Amazon if you want to go with random music every day.

Powerful features for growthAmazon Thumbnail

Apparently, music streaming is booming for Amazon. In fact it’s one of their most powerful features at this time and it’s continuing to grow constantly. Even if Amazon makes most of its money via the cloud computing division, investing in other services like music streaming is bound to help quite a lot. Since Amazon has some other features embedded in the process, it might end up bringing in more customers to their ecosystem as a whole, and that’s the type of thing that really matters for a lot of customers at this point. And if you live outside the US, you can check out shopping on Amazon from outside the US.

More interaction for users

The potential for Amazon is huge, especially since they have the Echo speaker and similar tools that can offer a new layer of interaction and features to the user. It’s safe to say that this is a great and powerful opportunity, one that people can use to test out new things and enjoy great features as they see fit. Will this be a challenge for Spotify? Having a new service with similar features might make a dent in their customer base. But how, and whether Spotify will actually respond to this is hard to say. Yet the competition is there, which is always great for customers!

Playstation Gamer of the Week: Danielle Najarro

For the first week of September, we are featuring Danielle Najarro from the Philippines! We sent over some questions to and wanted to know a bit about what he loves most about PlayStation gaming,

How old are you, and where are you located?

Hi, my name is Danielle I’m 21 years old, I’m from Cebu, Philippines. I created this account using one of your recommended VPNs, so I can use your service from my country.

What is your PlayStation Gamer tag?

My Gamertag is deenajarro

What was your first video game? Tell us your favorite story about it.

My first video game in PlayStation was Resident Evil owned by the Japanese video game company Capcom. Resident Evil may not always be great, but they’ve always been fascinating and curious objects. And it’s because of that wild experimentation that Resident Evil still has a firm grip on us, it redefines the genre and forcing the entirety of the game. I’m into survival horror and third-person shooting games especially if the story follows outbreaks of zombies and other monsters. I can’t wait to see where Capcom goes next with it!

What games are you currently playing?

I binge play Uncharted 4, Call of Duty WWII and God of War (which I recently finished within 4 days only)

How much time do you currently spend gaming?

I spend most of my vacant times on gaming especially when I’m done with work and during my day offs.

How long have you been gaming?

I’ve been a gamer since I gained consciousness and knowledge.

Have you entered any gaming competitions?

I’m a Solo RPG Gamer so I haven’t entered any gaming competitions. I might give it a try soon!

What in your opinion makes for a good video game?

Good storyline, engaging themes and let’s not forget about the graphics too!

What are your thoughts on console Gaming vs. PC gaming vs. Mobile gaming? Do you have a favorite?

My personal preference is Console gaming.  Consoles are the most comfortable and casual way to use it because you can play games while you’re sitting on the couch or even your bed. It’s the same as Mobile gaming but I can’t stand playing on a touchscreen phone. Unless it’s a Nokia N-Gage (which I do have before) is an interesting hybrid between a phone and portable game device. I’m not much of a PC gamer but yeah comfort can change a lot of opinions J

What feature would you like to see added to the PlayStation or PlayStation Network?

The only feature I would like to see added to the PlayStation or PlayStation Network is that hopefully, US gamers could change the PSN Gamer Tag. In my case, I used “deenajarro” so that my friends could find me easily because that’s almost my username to every social media account that I have. I hate the thought that us gamers have to delete our accounts and make a new one if you want different PSN Gamer tag and we’d lose all our achievements on our last account.

Why do you use MyGiftCardSupply to purchase your PSN gift cards?

Simply because my PlayStation account is US and I can’t purchase PSN gift cards here in my country which is the Philippines. And when it comes to purchasing PSN gift cards, I choose MyGiftCardSupply for they have excellent service and quick to respond. Two thumbs up!

What other things interest you, besides gaming?

I do cosplay where I could bring a fictional character to life. I also do modeling. I love to read novels/self-help books and travel as much as I can whenever I’m free from work or gaming.

The roof of the Kart can also be used as a bounce pad, propelling you to hard to reach areas of the map.

Playstation Gamer of the Week: Brittany Staley

For the first week of July, we are featuring Brittany Staley from South Carolina! We sent over some questions to and wanted to know a bit about what he loves most about PlayStation gaming,

How old are you, and where are you located?

Well, my name is Brittani & I am 29 years old. I am located in South Carolina

What is your PlayStation Gamer tag?

My Gamertag is TopNotchNERD

What was your first video game? Tell us your favorite story about it.

My first video game was Super Mario 3. It initially came out when I was only a couple of days old but the game was so great that when I turned 2 it was still popular (in our household at least) and my 2 older brothers were always hooked on it. I remember my mom snapping “photos” of us all playing.

What games are you currently playing?

Man, where do I start? Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, Far Cry 5 and Overwatch are the top games I am on.

How much time do you currently spend gaming?

ABOUT 60 hours a week. lol

How long have you been gaming?

I’ve been gaming since I was 2ish. I really got into it when Metal Gear Solid (1998 I think) came out. And I have been hooked ever since. Call it crazy but I even met my husband on PS4 playing GTAV.

Have you entered any gaming competitions?

I have not. Thought about it…

What in your opinion makes for a good video game?

I would say of course something with a good storyline that’s number one for me. If it doesn’t hook me on the first mission/cutscene I probably won’t play it much longer. I love endgame rewards and I love anything that has to do with multiplayer.

What are your thoughts on console Gaming vs. PC gaming vs. Mobile gaming? Do you have a favorite?

Well, I can honestly say I’ve only played about 2 games on PC and mobile games… I mean who doesn’t have at least one mobile game on their phone lol. I can say that a lot of PC only games have caught my eye and I have been tempted but I love my console games overall. (Especially with all the announcements at E3)

What feature would you like to see added to the PlayStation or PlayStation Network?

THE ABILITY TO MULTI DELETE PEOPLE FROM FRIENDS LIST Increase the max number of people in a party… maybe to 10? lol

Why do you used MyGiftCardSupply to purchase your PSN gift cards?

I use it mainly because I agree so much with the purpose and how convenient everything is. Not to mention the rewards program. I remember when I made my first purchase I was away for work in Chicago and my 12-year-old daughter ( who also games on her ps4 ) did well in school so I wanted to gift her a psn card. I was able to purchase her card and send it immediately to her via text.

What other things interest you, besides gaming?

I love being involved in Veteran related activities. My husband was in the marines for 9 years and we try to stay active in military-related activities when we choose a day to not the game. If you want to know more about Brittany Staley you can follow her on her Instagram: http://instagram.com/TopNotchNERD

Thank you Brittany for participating in MyGiftCardSupply’s PlayStation Gamer of the Week!

Getting access to more US content using Amazon Prime

As many of our customers already know, but those outside the beautiful world of US gift cards might not; there is an entire world of content that can be accessed in the United States, and with the right *tools*, can be accessed from anywhere in the world. I discovered this several years ago, while traveling to different countries outside the United States, that depending on which country I was in, determined what content I was able to access. This was a huge bummer, because I was in the middle of an amazing TV show, and at night I wasn’t able to continue my binge watching of my favorite show. But, luckily a friend of mine has a pretty slick solution, use a VPN service to spoof your location so it looks to the service provider—Netflix at this time—thinks you are located in the United States. Boom! The technology behind this is quite simple. A VPN service (short for Virtual Private Network) is a service you can buy for very cheap (see our comparison VPN page here), and you can run on your computer, phone, and depending on the service, multiple other devices. When you load up the software, you will get a list of options to chose from where you can pick which location you want to “tunnel” to.

Smarty DNS Desktop App Smart DNS screenshot

Express VPN Mobile App

As you can see from the screen shots, this software lets you pick which location services will see you from. Some services such as iTunes and Google don’t look at your location, but Spotify, Hulu, Netflix, and many more do! Okay, now that you’ve learned how to spoof your location to anywhere in the world, which is basically magic, now how can you access content? Well, for TV streaming, the top three are Amazon, Hulu and Netflix. Lets break those down.

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon’s Prime Video service was launched in 2006, but recently it has been gaining traction, and Amazon is reportedly investing a lot of money to create original shows and make this service a real contender. The first part of Amazon Prime Video, is you get it by being a member of Amazon’s Prime service. This is a service which costs $119 per year (2018) which fortunately you can pay for with a US Amazon Gift Card and activate this from anywhere in the world. Amazon’s Prime service is also great for shipping options, which may or may not benefit you from outside the United States, unless you are using a freight forwarding service which will help you receive your goods much faster than regular shipping. (Side note, if you are interested in Amazon as a place to do your shopping, used books are still one of my favorite ways to save a lot of money on Amazon! I love their huge selection, and if it’s an older book I can often times find it for $3-4 USD plus shipping.) Okay, now back to the streaming.

4K Quality Streaming, without the extra cost.

The biggest benefit to Amazon’s Prime Video product is the 4K streaming capability. If you compare prices between Amazon, Hulu and Netflix, Amazon wins as the cheapest option if you are looking for that 4K streaming. Amazon has stated they do not plan to hike prices for 4K streaming quality. Excellent!

Stream Amazon Prime Video on many devices

Luckily for Apple TV users, such as myself, Amazon and Apple got together and recently added the Amazon Prime Video app to Apple TV! Now you no longer need a Fire TV stick or certain Smart TV sets to stream Amazon Prime Video. If you don’t have an Apple TV, of course you can stream via several other options such as Blu-ray players, set-top boxes such as Roku, Google TV, TiVO, Nvidia Shield, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, and many more. Of course don’t forget your very own computer or phone In whichever way you decide to enjoy your content, we hope you get the most out of your experience and spend the time enjoying TV with your close friends and family.

Playstation Gamer of the Week: Hzsaiah Rampersad

For the second weekend in June, we are featuring Hzsaiah Rampersad from Morocco! We sent over some questions to and wanted to know a bit about what he loves most about PlayStation gaming,

How old are you, and where are you located?

I am 20 years young and I am located in the middle of the Atlantic on a tiny Island named Bermuda.

What is your PSN Gamer tag?

My G tag is the one and only “ZAYAWORLDBOSS”, it was inspired by my hunger to conquer within the gaming realm.

What was your first video game? Tell us your favorite story about it.

My first video game was this super cool game introduced to me by my father called I-Ninja published by NAMCO. As a ninja in training in this classic arcade styled adventure I used my acrobatic skills and abilities throughout the journey to defeat the Ranx army, led by Master O-Dor in order to rescue my sensei. With an arsenal of explosive darts, a ricocheting shuriken, sword, and a grappling hook I overcame the obstacles to progress along the chain of levels. One mission I remember in particularly is Robot Beach where I climbed into the foot of this horned robot and took control as if I were the in the movie “Real Steel”. Hook after hook and jab for jab we battled among the seas and whoever shall fall will rest at the ocean floor INDEFINITELY… just kidding I bashed his face in and kept it moving.

What games are you currently playing?

At the moment, I binge play Far Cry 5, I also play GTA 5, Fallout 4 and Fortnite but at a much less steady rate.

How much time do you currently spend gaming?

I Play video games about 3 hours daily, I would get much more time in if I didn’t have other obligations in life.

How long have you been gaming?

I’ve been gaming since I could put a controller in my hand, I’ve played video games as a toddler.

Have you ever entered any gaming competitions?

Yes plenty, some were ranked and many where unranked, throughout it all I’ve had much success.

What in your opinion makes for a good video game?

Detail, physics, manipulative storyline, open world, and realism are my opinionated characteristics of a great video game.

What are your thoughts on console Gaming vs. PC gaming vs. Mobile gaming? Do you have a favorite?

Console gaming has always been my number one as far as stability and comfort even though PC gaming can be much more powerful at times. Mobile gaming is just a temporary entertainment structure from my perspective.

What feature would you like to see added to the PlayStation or PlayStation Network?

Cross Platforming!! (Don’t we all wish!)

Why do you used MyGiftCardSupply to purchase your PSN gift cards?

MyGiftCardSupply Is very user-friendly and direct when it comes to navigation and purchasing PSN gift cards it is definitely my greatest recommendation to all those out there trying to top up their accounts.J

What other things interest you, besides gaming?

Many things interest me besides gaming but one of my interest that I’ll like to share with you all is my passion for tech and design. It is my mission to implement new tech for the future in order for technology and the human body to become one where the individual can precisely orchestrate the actions displayed on screen to control a system.

Thank you Hzsaiah for participating in MyGiftCardSupply’s PSN Gamer of the Week!

A Customer’s Report: Daniel’s Life in Singapore

Hey all! I am Daniel. I live in Singapore, and I have been asked by Sam at MyGiftCardSupply to share a little bit about my experience living here, how I use US iTunes gift cards, and what I do for fun. First of all, I haven’t always lived in Singapore. I was actually born in a small town in Germany, but I moved here when I was 5 years old. My father had a job offer working in the financial district and we relocated with my two siblings. Since I was young, I found myself building friendships around video games. After school, my friends would come over to my house and we would play our favorite video games. My earliest memory was a game called Battle Toads on I believe Sega Genesis. My first big purchase in video games was purchasing a PlayStation 2. My father went to the US on a business trip and brought one back with him, including a copy of Grand Theft Auto which was the hot game that year. It blew us away how different and amazing this game was from any other game we had played previously. Nowadays, most of my gaming is done on an Xbox, or on an iOS device. I have an iPhone 8 and an iPad. Clash of Clans is the game I spend the most time in. I have make a small profit from building up a village to a certain point then selling it on eBay. It usually takes me about 4-6 weeks to build up a village and I can sell it for around $200-300 USD. I use a few different methods to build quickly, including using a US iTunes gift card to buy gems and expedite time it would normally take. When I am not gaming, I enjoy going to movies and riding my bike. One amazing thing about Singapore is how incredibly safe the community is here. It is also very clean. I forget this sometimes, but when I travel outside Singapore I realize how other countries do not have the same laws and culture around picking up your trash. I am currently attending university and studying business administration. I want to go into business for myself, or work for a progressive company that strives to do things differently. I’ve always had an interest in business, and building systems around a profitable product. I guess in some ways, I am already doing that by buying US iTunes cards and turning them into established Clash of Clans villages and making a profit. I also appreciate there are many different angles with business. There is always something new and exciting to focus on. Sales, marketing, finance, social presence; there’s just no end to it! I think MyGiftCardSupply does a great job at what they do. Anytime I have an issue, their customer service is excellent and we get any issues resolved quickly. I know they are located in the United States, but I can order a gift card at any hour of the day and it comes to my inbox within a few minutes, and often times instantly. I’ve told many people about their service, and I continue to be a loyal customer to them after many years of doing business. I need them for my business, and I guess they need me for theirs. Thank you for an amazing service, and allowing me to make money and build a business of my own off your service! Singapore Flag for iTunes Customer
