How old are you, and where are you located? 

I’m 40 years old, and live in Mexico.

Tell us something special or unique about where you live, or why you like it? 

It’s a great place to travel to!

What is your favorite product you have purchased on iTunes, and why? 

Music, because I LOVE MUSIC!

Do you have any subscriptions on iTunes? If so, which services, and how do you like to use them? 

A lot of them .. Apple Music, Music match, etc. I use them to get connected with my kind of music.

Why do you choose the US iTunes Store instead of the local option available to you? 

Because they have more options when it comes to Music, Apps, Books, almost anything really.

How did you find out about the US iTunes Store? Do your friends and family shop there as well? 

I’m not sure how I found out about it. And yes, my friends and family shop there as well. (We also have a Mexico US iTunes page that you can check out to figure out how to purchase US iTunes cards from Mexico!)

How to stream Xbox One games on Windows PC

Now that you have your Xbox cards, you’re sure to want to play as many games with your friends as possible. Streaming Xbox One games to your Windows PC is actually quite simple and can make the experience even more fun. We’ve mapped out a step by step guide you’ll be able to enjoy playing your Xbox games on your PC. A quick note before reading all the instructions is that you’ll want your PC and Xbox One to be on the same network. And in case you’re interested, we’ve also provided you with instructions on how to convert your Xbox subscription into Game Pass Ultimate.

Streaming Xbox One games with the Xbox Console companion app

If you already have a Windows 10 version on your computer, then the Xbox Console Companion App is already installed. That being said, if it’s not, then you’ll be able to get it from the Windows Store. Once it’s on your computer, open the app and login to your Microsoft account. After you’ve signed in to the app, you’ll need to click the menu button that’s on the left hand side of the app. Now you’ll want to click on “Connections”. Then choose to add a device. At this time, the app will try to find a console in your network. It will take a little bit of time to find the console, so be patient! If the console can’t be found, you can enter your IP address and it should be able to find it that way. This is why it’s a good idea to have your PC and Xbox One to be on the same network. Once you’re connected, you’ll see that the console appears in the “now playing” section. You can click on it and the PC monitor will show the real time gameplay from your Xbox One.

Can you fix the lag?

Yes, there are ways to fix the lag. You need to make sure that you click the button at the bottom side of the screen, and then you’ll be able to see the granular details. If you want, you can also change the stream quality. It can be anything from high to low. Sometimes restarting your PC can help with the lag as well. It’s safe to say that streaming your Xbox One gameplay on a PC is possible, and it’s really not that difficult. It will take a little bit of time to customize it, but you’ll be sure to enjoy the experience. Just check it out and you’ll have it ready to go in no time!

I’m 35 and l’m located in South Africa.

Tell us something special or unique about where you live, or why you like it? 

In Cape Town, you live the holiday lifestyle everyday.

What is your favorite product you have purchased on iTunes, and why?

TV Series. It keeps me entertained.

Do you have any subscriptions on iTunes? If so, which services, and how do you like to use them? 

No.

Why do you choose the US iTunes Store instead of the local option available to you?

How did you find out about the US iTunes Store? Do your friends and family shop there as well? 

On Google. No, my friends and family don’t currently shop there.

I found that it took longer to receive the voucher than a previous iTunes voucher service i was using, but it is cheaper.

What kinds of things do you like to do for fun? 

I play guitar.

Apple TV Plus will launch in November and cost $9.99

Netflix is getting quite the competition later this year with Disney Plus as well as the new Apple TV Plus. It seems that a lot of companies are doubling hard on the idea of getting content done exclusively and making people get accustomed to their platform. And that’s what Apple TV Plus is trying to do, with some original content and some interesting services.

Interesting launch date

Apple wants your iTunes cards and money, and they are launching their Apple TV Plus the same month as Disney Plus. While the launch array might not be the best, Apple is confident that its content will be great. However, they’re only bringing 5 shows in total. The Morning Show which will have Jennifer Aniston and Reese Whiterspoon, See which is featuring Jason Momoa, Amazing Stories which is a revival from Spielberg, a documentary series called Home, and also Truth be Told with Octavia Spencer. That’s not a lot of original content, especially considering that it’s competing against Disney’s launch date. But we can expect Apple to get some exclusive rights. We know they have the rights for Peanuts and they are planning a Snoopy educational show.

They are spending a lot on original content

Initially, Apple wanted to spend $1 billion on original content, but they are focused on original content creation so they upped that number to $6 billion. It’s also rumored that they are expected to get $50 billion in services revenue in 2020, so Apple TV Plus is an integral part of making that a reality. There’s no bundle service coming at this time with Apple TV Plus, so you’ll have to pay the $10 and simply enjoy the service. That being said, Disney Plus is coming with a great bundle package that has ESPN and Hulu, so hopefully Apple will reconsider and come up with a bundle package in the future. And for all you gamers out there, Apple TV will support Xbox One and PS4 controllers! Either way, more competition in the streaming world is important for consumers. It allows us to enjoy the experience even more and have a wide array of shows to explore and enjoy. Plus, you can easily cancel and rejoin at any time. There’s no hard launch date for now, but we do know Apple TV Plus will appear November 2019.

About 6-8 years.

What was your first video game? Tell us your favorite story about it. 

My first video game was Pro evolution soccer. I got beaten 15-0.

What games do you currently play? 

FIFA, Fortnite, Apex legends, Uncharted….

How much time do you currently spend gaming? 

About 4-5 hours a day.

Have you entered any gaming competitions? If so, which ones? 

No

What in your opinion makes for a good video game? 

The best games to me have high intensity.

What are your thoughts on Console gaming vs. PC gaming vs. Mobile gaming? Do you have a favorite? 

Well, Fortnite..it’s easier to play on a PC. But I prefer gaming on consoles.

What feature would you like to see added to the current gaming environment? 

Nothing comes to mind at the moment.

Sega Genesis is Making a Comeback

We always expect top of the line results and good quality from Sega. But in recent years even if we have had Nintendo cards or Amazon cards, we don’t usually tend to use those on Sega products. The company has been more focused on its software initiative. But now they are launching a new Sega Genesis in the form of the Sega Genesis Mini.

What do we know about the Sega Genesis Mini?

There are some interesting things to note when it comes to the Sega Genesis Mini. What we like the most is the fact that this is very similar to a toy, yet it’s a console. It’s around 55% smaller than the original Sega Genesis. It’ll cost you $79.99 and all you have to do is put it in front of the TV and connect it with an HDMI chord. The unit has 2 USB controllers that replicate the original gamepads that Sega Genesis had. You will also get 42 games in total which is a pretty good deal. When compared to the PlayStation classic, it cost about $100 and it had a similar set of features, but less games.

Quality of life improvements and games

You do get some quality of life improvements that make this console very good for the money. First of all, you can hold the start button and go directly to the main menu without having to actually get up. The library can be seen in a bookshelf format, helping you store and see more games. And then there’s obviously the list of games. You are going to love the game selection. There are tons of cool classics here, but some stand out such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Ecco the Dolphin, Gunstar Heroes, Earthworm Jim, Thunder Force III, Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion, Super Fantasy Zone, Shining Force, Comix Zone, Castlevania, Bloodlines and so on. It’s safe to say that Sega Genesis is set to bring in a lot of nostalgia. It’s immersive, and the fact that this unit costs less than other Mini consoles is a definite plus. You should definitely consider giving it a try if possible, and it’s available right now!

Amazon Customer of the Week – Leah

How old are you, and where are you located? 

I’m 25 and live in Centerville, Ohio.

Tell us something special or unique about where you live, or why you like it? 

Centerville has this really nice forest walking path called Sugarcreek MetroPark.  It’s great for a peaceful walk with family or your dog and it has this little woodsy section where it almost looks like a tunnel made out of trees!

What is your favorite item that you have purchased on Amazon, and why?

My favorite item that I’ve purchased on Amazon would have to be the Bluewave Bedding Ultra Slim pillow.  It is a soft, thin memory foam pillow and it’s fantastic for people, like myself, who have neck pain; it’s like sleeping on a cloud!

Are you an Amazon Prime Member? If so, what services do you use the most? Music? Video? Faster Shipping? 

I am not currently an Amazon Prime Member, but I had a free Prime trial that just ended.  The shipping was so fast I’m considering actually buying Prime.

Why do you choose Amazon instead of local options or other websites? 

Amazon has better choices for products that I’m looking for, along with better prices.  There’s a lot of variety on Amazon.

Are you using any additional services to ship your Amazon products to your country? 

No.

Do you have any tips or tricks to get the most value out of Amazon? 

If you want to price watch an amazon item, there’s this great little site called CamelCamelCamel.  If an item on your wishlist goes down, you’ll be sent an email alert so you can go on amazon and snag that deal!

How did you find MyGiftCardSupply, and what is your favorite things about this service? 

I found MyGiftCardSupply by googling “best gift card sellers online” and the 5 star reviews caught my attention!

What kinds of things do you like to do for fun? 

I really enjoy cooking for my family and trying new foods.  A recent success was a non-dairy chicken pot pie!
